Track Record

Teton County has an exceptionally engaged, caring, and activated population. I believe local government must inspire our residents to foster a sustainable, prosperous, and inclusive community.

During my time in office, I have commiTted to:

  • Listen to all sides of an issue before reaching a decision

  • Articulate principles and rationale that guide my decisions as commissioner

  • Not just tell you what you want to hear

  • Be civil without using "civility" as an excuse to evade accountability, dodge difficult issues, or delay difficult decisions

Vision for Teton County

Workforce Housing

Providing affordable housing options for those who serve our community is critical to keeping Jackson a well-balanced and special community. We need smarter use of public and private land and creative partnerships to get housing in the ground.

Transportation

Reducing the impacts of congestion and roads on our community and environment requires regional partnerships and innovative solutions, rather than merely laying more asphalt. We can accomplish this by creating a model transportation system that allows residents, commuters, and visitors to conveniently walk, bicycle, ride the bus, and ride share.

Protecting Public Lands and Wildlife

More than 97% of Teton County is public land. The current federal administration does not have the best interests of these lands at heart. Teton County needs to step up when it comes to protecting these treasures.

Community Services

Vital social services such as healthcare, including physical and mental health care should be funded. We need to find ways to secure local revenue, as state lawmakers pursue cuts.
